**Job Description**
Field Engineers will be responsible for providing on-site technical support for Dell equipment at customer locations, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform initial troubleshooting and issue triage in coordination with Dell Support.
- Execute action plans provided by Dell Domain Engineers (L3 support).
- Document results of actions taken, including logs, service reports, and part replacement details (PPID/part numbers), and share updates via case communication.
- Perform hardware tasks such as resetting, swapping, and replacing components.
- Conduct server testing and validation, including running diagnostics and uploading system logs.
- Perform firmware upgrades as required.
- Manage parts inventory, including handling inbound and outbound shipments within the parts locker.
- Oversee spare parts management, especially during customer warehouse (CW) server deployments.
- Ensure proper return of replaced or unused parts to Dell.
