ABB is strengthening its digital advisory capability and is looking for a
**Digital Solutions Consultant**
who thrives at the intersection of operations, engineering design and customer value creation.
This is not a traditional engineering or pre-sales position
**,**
you will become a trusted advisor to leading industrial customers, helping them unlock measurable improvements in asset operations strategies, engineering design and safety targets through advanced digital solutions. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions, investment priorities, and performance outcomes across some of the most complex process industries.
We are searching primarily in the posted countries for a Hybrid work-model or remote model, when needed.
**Your Role And Responsibilities**
- Work directly with customer operations and engineering leadership
- Shape high-impact digital programs using ABB’s advanced portfolio
- Analyze safety and alarm design and workflows to identify potential improvement
- Build clear, quantified impact value cases and ROI models
- Support pilots and scale digital optimization programs across sites
- Present compelling insights to Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Leadership teams
**Qualifications For The Role**
- 5–10+ years in process control, safety, or industrial domain and digital solutions
- Strong experience with Safety and Alarm management Lifecycles (IEC61511 and IEC62682) within process automation.
- Ability to translate technical insight into business value
- Minimum BSc in Process, Chemical, Automation, or Safety Engineering (or similar)
- Fluent English (Nordic language a plus)
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30% of work time)
