Thon Hotel Drammen will open on June 1, 2026, as part of the Drammen Health Park located in Brakerøya, Drammen. The hotel will feature 220 rooms, 22 meeting rooms, a restaurant, and a neighborhood café, ensuring a comprehensive experience for customers and guests. With a focus on quality service and hospitality, the hotel will cater to a wide range of guests, including leisure travelers, business professionals, and event attendees. Thon Hotel Drammen aims to become a welcoming hub for the local community and visitors alike.
**Role Description**
The Head Waiter will ensure exceptional dining experiences by overseeing front-of-house operations, leading the team, and delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include managing seating arrangements, supervising team members, training new staff, and ensuring efficient food and beverage service. Additional duties include addressing guest inquiries and complaints, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining cleanliness and standards in the dining area. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Drammen.
**Qualifications**
- Customer Service and Communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and resolve inquiries or issues
- Food & Beverage and Food Service expertise to deliver high-quality dining experiences
- Basic knowledge of Cooking to cooperate and coordinate tasks with the kitchen team
- Leadership experience, including the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is highly preferred
- Proficiency in both Norwegian and English languages is an advantage
- A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering excellent service
