**About Bremanger Quarry**
Bremanger Quarry is one of the largest open-pit quarries in Norway. It produces high-quality sandstone for infrastructure and maritime projects worldwide.
What makes the operation unique is its production process. By using gravity to crush stone, energy consumption is reduced. As a result, the quarry even generates surplus electricity, which is fed back into the grid.
In addition, the location offers direct access to the open sea. Therefore, large bulk carriers can be loaded efficiently at its own quay facilities.

What you’ll be doing
- Take ownership of implementing and improving HSEQ processes across the organization
- Monitor HSEQ systems and ensure routines, procedures, and standards are followed
- Carry out risk assessments and proactively identify health, safety, and environmental risks
- Analyze incidents and deviations, and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines
- Support certification processes and contribute to maintaining and strengthening standards
- Deliver training and share knowledge with employees and partners on HSEQ topics
- Act as a key contact for authorities, customers, and external stakeholders
- Document and report incidents and HSEQ-related activities
- Participate in meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What you bring
- Experience or education within HSEQ
- Strong digital skills and the ability to work with systems and data
- Experience from construction, industrial, or similar environments (a plus, not required)
- A structured and proactive approach to work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage others
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
