- **Role Description**
IT Support Engineer – Long-Term Project
Location: Oslo, Norway
Project Duration: Long-term
Work Arrangement: On-site, 3 days per week
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line IT support to end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, access, passwords, and permissions.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN, email, and connectivity issues.
- Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the IT service management/ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate infrastructure or application teams.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and account access.
- Maintain IT documentation, knowledge-base articles, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and procedures.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and support to users in the Oslo location.
- Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer / EUC Engineer.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking, and end-user computing.
- Experience with IT ticketing/service management tools.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work on-site in Oslo 3 days every week.
- Important: Candidate must be able to speak Norwegian (local language) in addition to English.
- Candidates should be available for a long-term project engagement.
