**Role Overview**

As a **Logistics Specialist**, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting logistics operations related to our manufacturing activities in Norway. You will ensure that materials, components, equipment and finished products move efficiently and on time between suppliers, warehouses, production sites and customers.

The role involves close collaboration with **Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and international logistics teams**, as well as external carriers, freight forwarders and customs partners.

We are looking for someone who is structured, hands-on and proactive, and who enjoys taking ownership of logistics processes in a growing and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations in Norway.
- Plan and coordinate deliveries of raw materials, components, equipment and other goods required for production.
- Coordinate shipments of finished products and materials to customers and other locations.
- Plan transportation, delivery schedules and shipment requirements.
- Source and coordinate carriers, freight forwarders and other logistics providers.
- Negotiate transportation costs, terms and delivery schedules where relevant.
- Monitor shipments from booking to delivery and follow up on delays, shortages, damages or other issues.
- Prepare, check and maintain invoices, packing lists, shipping documents and other logistics documentation.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and support customs clearance when required.
- Ensure that shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with applicable requirements.
- Work closely with the Ukrainian Logistics Team on shipments between Ukraine, Norway and other European destinations.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Production to ensure materials are available and moved according to production requirements.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential delivery and supply risks at an early stage.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery status, costs and relevant documentation.
- Support inventory control and reconciliation together with Warehouse and Supply Chain.
- Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve delivery issues.
- Contribute to improving logistics processes, routines and ways of working as the company grows.
- Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs, improve lead times and increase overall logistics efficiency.
- Support the implementation and improvement of ERP/WMS-based logistics processes and reporting.

**Qualifications & Competencies**

- **2–4+ years of relevant experience** in logistics, freight forwarding, international logistics, supply chain or a similar role.
- Experience from a **manufacturing, production or industrial environment** is an advantage.
- Practical experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
- Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and suppliers.
- Good understanding of international transportation and customs processes.
- Good knowledge of **Incoterms**.
- Experience with logistics documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documents.
- Experience using **ERP, WMS or other logistics systems**.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several shipments and priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and follow-up.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from planning through completion.
- Good communication and coordination skills, both internally and with external partners.
- **Fluent English**, written and spoken.
- **Norwegian is an advantage**, particularly for communication with local suppliers, carriers and service providers.
