Stillingsbeskrivelse
RAMS Engineer – Turn analysis into real operational impact
Are you a Maintenance Engineer with RAMS experience who wants more than reports and recommendations?
At Euromaint, your analyses don’t end in PowerPoint.
They become concrete improvements in workshops, better fleet availability and measurable performance gains.
About Euromaint
Euromaint delivers safe, reliable and sustainable rail maintenance solutions across the Nordics.
After several years of transformation, we now operate with a strong operational foundation, standardized processes and documented improvements. Together with our Operation Excellence team and with support from CAF, we are continuously strengthening and optimizing our Nordic Standard Operating Model.
Our ambition is clear:
**To be best in class in rail maintenance.**
In Norway, we operate workshops in Oslo (Lodalen) and Bergen, and we collaborate closely with our Swedish workshops as part of a fully integrated Nordic setup.
Engineering at Euromaint is not theoretical. It drives performance.
The Role – Based in Oslo, Nordic Impact
This position is based in Oslo (Lodalen).
Travel to Bergen and to our Swedish workshops must be expected. You will be present where improvements happen — supporting implementation and following up on results.
Your mission is simple but demanding:
Improve reliability, availability and safety in real operations.
You will:
• Perform reliability analyses, FMECA and support RCM-based optimization
• Analyze operational data to reduce failure rates and increase fleet availability
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to work in accordance with EN 50126/28/29
• Support LCC evaluations and availability calculations
• Translate analysis into practical, implementable improvement measures
• Work closely with production teams, technical specialists and management
• Travel on-site to support and anchor improvement initiatives in Norway and Sweden
This is not a desk job.
You will see the direct impact of your work in daily train operations.
Who We Are Looking For
We believe you are a Maintenance Engineer or RAMS Engineer who:
• Has hands-on experience with reliability, RCM, FMECA or risk assessments
• Understands the link between technical performance, cost and operational availability
• Is comfortable moving between data analysis and workshop dialogue
• Has experience from railway, heavy transport or industrial maintenance
• Communicates confidently in English (Norwegian is an advantage)
• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or similar
Experience with EN 50126/28/29 and RAMS tools is an advantage — but operational maintenance understanding combined with RAMS exposure is equally valuable.
Why This Role?
• Real ownership of improvements
• Direct impact on fleet performance
• Nordic collaboration across Norway and Sweden
• A company with clear ambitions and structured operational development
• A role where analysis leads to action
If you want your engineering work to improve real trains, real operations and real results — this is your opportunity.
