WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the supply chain function for Grid & Connect Norway, based at our Langhus site. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and lead a team responsible for ensuring efficient and reliable supply chain operations, from sourcing and purchasing to planning and sales and operations planning (S&OP).

You will work closely with customers, supplying plants across Nexans and external suppliers, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Controlling. You will also collaborate with the Nordic supply chain organisation and contribute to the Plant Management Team and Grid & Connect Norway Management Team.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, develop your team and drive improvements that strengthen customer service, operational efficiency and business performance.

**How You Make An Impact**
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials from raw materials to finished goods, balancing customer service, availability and inventory levels. You will play a key role in supporting business growth, profitability and continuous improvement.

**Your Main Responsibilities Will Include**

- Lead the supply chain function: Manage and develop the team across Purchasing, Sourcing, Planning and S&OP, fostering motivation, competence development and a strong sense of ownership.
- Optimise material flow and inventory: Ensure efficient planning and management of material flows, maintaining the lowest possible inventory levels while securing product availability and operational continuity.
- Drive customer satisfaction: Ensure high service levels through proactive follow-up, close collaboration and dedicated support for key customers and projects.
- Own the S&OP process: Lead the sales and operations planning process, including sales forecasting, demand planning and coordination between commercial and operational functions.
- Strengthen supplier collaboration: Work closely with supplying plants within Nexans and external suppliers to secure reliable deliveries, effective sourcing and smooth supply chain operations.
- Improve cost efficiency and working capital: Drive cost optimisation, with particular attention to inventory levels, Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) and relevant supply chain costs.
- Support business growth and profitability: Identify opportunities for value-added services and win-win solutions with customers while contributing to improved business performance.
- Promote Lean and continuous improvement: Further develop Lean methodologies, establish efficient working practices and support a clear safety culture throughout the department.
- Contribute to management and cross-functional collaboration: Participate in the Plant Management Team and Grid & Connect Norway Management Team, while sharing supply chain knowledge and best practices across the company and Nordic organisation.

You will succeed in this role by building a motivated and capable team, maintaining high customer satisfaction, improving cost efficiency and working capital, and supporting sustainable business growth.

You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.
