About the role
As an Automation Engineer at Coromatic, you work to develop solutions for, and verify, the function of, backup power plants according to the customer's technical requirements. Your work includes, among other things, developing functional descriptions and PLC programming project-specific control systems for the plant, including communication with overarching systems where applicable.

Your starting point is the customer's technical specification and our quotation documents, which you will translate into hardware selection, software programming and testing.

The role also involves gathering information, presenting and discussing technical choices with project managers and customers. The work often involves travel, mainly to customer facilities and commissioning the system. You need to have an understanding of electrical power, preferably an interest in mechanical engineering and a strong sense of safety and responsibility.

You can independently run development projects and stay up to date with new technical solutions.

The service involves travel within a larger geographical area.

Who are you?
To be able to perform the job in the best way, we see that you have:

University degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or automation, or equivalent experience.

A few years of work experience in a relevant field such as power production or distribution.

Very good computer skills

B driving license

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience in PLC programming and understanding of logic circuits in PLC systems is an asset

You are meticulous, responsible and ask questions that help you learn more and develop.

The position is placed in a security class, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a passed security clearance and register check.
