We're currently looking for a high performer to join our brand new service department for our Hamilton VW and Skoda dealership as an Automotive Technician (1 position available).
The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate:
- A relevant level 4 qualification or at least 3 years' relevant industry experience
- Neat and professional appearance
- A can do outlook towards work and fellow employees and a positive attitude
- Computer literacy essential
- Ability to work under pressure
- Diagnostic skills essential
- Relevant automotive qualifications
- A current Driver's License
- WOF certification an advantage
- A reliable, honest, and transparent work ethic
- High standard of mechanical workmanship and attention to detail
- An excellent written and verbal command of English
- Great time management
A competitive remuneration package is on offer along with product training located in Te Rapa, Hamilton.
Hours of work normally average 40hrs per week with rostered Saturdays (8-12pm) approx. once a month.
An hourly rate of $32 - $38 per hour will be offered to the successful candidate relevant to the qualifications, skills and experience you bring to our team.
