In order to satisfy our customers and the objectives of Sherwin Williams, the
**Blender**
must manage all tinting and blending activities in order to obtain the required results. Blender II is responsible to formulate new color samples based on customer requests and to manufacture color batches according to the SW quality standards.


**Responsibilities**

- To work in a multi-BU environment, supporting customers across all Divisions
- To formulate color based on customer needs, in accordance with the specifications, norms and standards
- To perform basic maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot problems, or arrange with the Facility Manager for equipment to be repaired or serviced by appropriate technicians.
- To provide input regarding inventory levels in the warehouse/stockroom to support business and meet inventory turn goals.
- To follow Waste Minimization Plan, PSR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazardous Material Handling Procedures, and all other safety procedures as outlines.
- To maintain a clean and safe working environment following housekeeping procedures
- To support business development / ensuring that safety, quality and lead time standards are met
- To ensure that all orders are accurately prepared and maintain an up-to-date order history.
- To follow designated loss prevention, security and safety practices according to policy and correct or report non-compliance of appropriate procedures/policies.

**Qualifications**

- Good computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of colorimetry and application techniques
- Knowledge of the different paints and their manufacturing processes
