**Clinical Research Nurse**

Clinical research nurses play a vital role in delivering clinical research and ultimately improving patient care and treatment pathways. Home-visiting clinical research nursing is a nursing practice with a specialty focus on the care of research participants. In addition to providing and coordinating clinical care, home-visiting clinical research nurses have a central role in assuring participant safety, ongoing maintenance of informed consent, the integrity of protocol implementation, accuracy of data collection, data recording, and follow-up. Care received by research participants is driven by study requirements and the collection of research data, as well as clinical indications.

Poseidon CRO, rapidly increasing coverage in Europe, is now opening this freelance, part-time position. Poseidon CRO will ensure that training material and constant support are provided to the collaborator throughout the project. Our programs focus on providing compassionate and professional care to our patients in both clinical and home care settings.

**We are currently seeking a skilled and caring nurse to join our team and make a difference in the lives of patients.**

As a Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting our Home Care Programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Performing home visits to a study participant
- Receipt of study medication
- Monitor patients during and after treatments to ensure safety and manage any potential side effects or complications.
- Blood sample collection for further analysis
- Provide clear communication and support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure patient needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting procedures, observations, and outcomes.
- Monitor patients' condition throughout their participation
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

**Requirements:**

- Valid nursing license in Norway.
- Minimum of 1-year experience working in nursing, preferably 2+ years of experience.
- Willingness to travel to the patient's home
- Proven ability to collect blood samples safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children and families.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection prevention measures.
- To possess theoretical knowledge of the relevant disease process and to ensure that all theoretical and practical knowledge relating to the disease process is developed and maintained
- Good level of English knowledge

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience in home care settings or decentralized clinical trials.
- A driving license will be an advantage.
