Stillingsbeskrivelse

**Entrepreneurial leadership role to build and lead MARPRO’s local maritime recruitment presence with strong brand backing and long‑term upside.**

**The opportunity**

As part of our continued international development, MARPRO Group is seeking an entrepreneurial senior profile to establish and grow MARPRO’s presence in a strategically important maritime market.

We are currently looking to engage senior profiles across
**Finland, Norway, England, and Scotland.**

This opportunity is aimed at individuals who want to operate with a high degree of autonomy while being supported by a strong, established maritime brand and an experienced international organisation.

**This is not a traditional employed position.**
It is a long‑term, performance‑driven leadership opportunity for the right individual to represent MARPRO locally and build sustainable market presence.

**Key responsibilities**

- Develop and represent MARPRO Group in your local maritime market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with maritime companies and decision‑makers
- Lead recruitment assignments across specialist, management, and executive levels
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates within the maritime sector
- Contribute to MARPRO Group’s international collaboration and knowledge sharing

**Your background**

We are looking for a profile with:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant roles within the maritime industry, such as commercial, technical, operational, managerial, or advisory functions
- Solid experience within the maritime industry (commercial, technical, operational, or managerial) and/or maritime recruitment or consultancy
- A well‑established local network in shipping or the wider maritime value chain
- Strong commercial understanding and a relationship‑driven mindset
- High professional integrity and discretion
- The ambition and motivation to build something long term
- Strong LinkedIn presence
- Financial resilience and personal economic stability to comfortably manage the initial ramp‑up phase
- Fluency in English; local language proficiency is expected

Entrepreneurial experience, P&L exposure, or previous leadership roles are an advantage, but not a requirement.

**What MARPRO group offers**

- Representation of a respected and well‑positioned maritime‑only brand
- Access to an international organisation with deep maritime expertise
- Professional tools, processes, and operational support
- Close collaboration with a senior international team
- A flexible, performance‑oriented framework with long‑term perspective

MARPRO Group operates with a unique and proven business model that moves beyond traditional, transaction‑based recruitment. Our approach is built around long‑term strategic partnerships, enabling us to support clients as trusted advisors rather than short‑term service providers.

**Why consider this opportunity?**

This role is suited to professionals who value independence, credibility, and long‑term relationships over short‑term volume. You will operate in a market you know, supported by a group that understands the maritime industry from the inside.

**Confidential dialogue**

All expressions of interest will be handled in strict confidence. An initial dialogue will focus on mutual fit, ambitions, and long‑term expectations. For further information, please contact Jakob le Fevre, Chief Executive Officer, on +45 53 70 09 95, or submit your CV and a motivated application for confidential evaluation.

**About MARPRO Group**

*MARPRO Group is an established maritime recruitment and executive search consultancy, operating exclusively within the global shipping and maritime industries. Founded in 2017, the Group has grown into a trusted partner for shipowners, operators, maritime service providers, and industrial players across Europe and beyond.*

*With an international footprint and a team of senior maritime professionals, MARPRO is recognised for its industry focus, discretion, and high professional standards. We work with everything from specialist hires through to confidential executive‑level mandates, always with the same objective: connecting the right maritime talent with the right organisations.*
