**Customer Service Operating Director — Data Centre Operator | Nordics**

**Compensation:**
Competitive base salary in the range of NOK 1.3M–2M depending on experience, plus benefits

I'm working exclusively with a growing Nordic data centre operator that's expanding its colocation and wholesale capacity to serve some of the biggest names in AI infrastructure and cloud.

They're hiring a Customer Service Operating Director who will act as the single point of contact between their operations organisation and a major customer. You'd own the relationship from an operational delivery standpoint: making sure the customer never has to chase five different teams to get an answer, translating their requirements into internal action, and managing expectations through both steady-state operations and incidents.

**What you'll be doing:**

- Acting as the bridge between the customer and the wider ops organisation, coordinating internally so nothing falls through the cracks
- Translating customer needs around capacity, latency, uptime, and expansion into clear operational priorities
- Owning SLA reporting, service reviews, and ongoing customer communication
- Managing expectations during incidents
- Understanding what the customer actually needs (not just what they ask for) and making sure the business delivers

**What they're looking for:**

- Strong data centre operations background, you've lived and breathed DC environments
- Genuine customer-facing experience at a senior level not just technical ops in the background
- Excellent communication skills, including fluent English you'll be working across cultures daily
- Commercially aware you understand that operational delivery is what retains customers
- Experience working across US/UK and Nordic markets, with an understanding of cultural nuances on both sides
- Someone who thrives in fast-moving, scaling environments this isn't a legacy enterprise gig
- Situationally aware, recipient-oriented communicator you adapt how you deliver a message depending on who's receiving it

This is a high-impact role inside a large-scale data centre operation (100MW+ phase 1) built specifically to serve AI infrastructure demand.
