We’re hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead automation and operation for our

cloud-based applications. You will design and manage secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines

and collaborate with multicultural teams to deliver innovative solutions for Exploration &

Production companies in the energy sector.

**Job location:**
remote, the candidate should be based in Norway

**Job type:**
Full-time, permanent

**Key responsibilities**

• Act as technical lead for DevSecOps, ensuring compliance with architecture and security standards

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications

• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud resource provisioning

• Oversee monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability

• Automate deployments, testing, and scaling across environments

• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient solutions

• Identify and mitigate technical risks; coach and mentor team members

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Solid and relevant experience can replace formal education

• 5+ years in software architecture and development, with focus on Azure and secure cloud architectures

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).


Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals

• Knowledge of application security practices and compliance ISO/IEC 27001 standard

to safeguard the infrastructure

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural teams

• Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior engineers to foster growth and

development within the organization

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Valid work permit for Norway
