Electrical engineer offshore wind

**Responsibilities**

- Perform electrical design for study and tendering phases for HVDC & HVAC offshore wind projects.
- Verify designs from previous study phases.
- Develop philosophies, single line diagrams, load lists, and cable lists in accordance with relevant standards and requirements.
- Participate in and arrange meetings, workshops, and reviews for the electrical discipline.
- Interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and the client.
- Opportunity to continue into later project phases, such as FEED and EPC.

Required expertise

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical system engineering.
- Experience from offshore wind projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with early-phase or conceptual electrical system design is a benefit.
- Efficient communicator with a cooperative attitude and acceptance for a multicultural team environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Systematic and accurate, with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality requirements.
- Proactive mindset, willing to seek advice and share experiences.

Location: Oslo, Norway

Work schedule: Full-time

Duration: An assignment from January 2026 to February 2027.
