As an Equity Sales Trader at Fearnley Securities you will be working alongside highly respected professionals within equity and bond
sales. You will be part of a team of three Sales Traders in the Equity Trading unit, working together to provide the best possible trade
execution and client service. The position represents a unique opportunity to assume a wide set of responsibilities and make a solid
contribution to the success of our company.
**What you will be doing:**
- Trading role with a main focus on coverage and equity order execution on behalf of Fearnley Securities clients
- Work closely with the sales team to generate revenue growth and represent Fearnley Securities from a trading and execution perspective in front of clients
- Continuous development of Fearnley Securities’ trading systems and electronic trading solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and brokers, understanding their execution needs, investment objectives and provide tailored solutions
**Who are you?**
- BSc/MSc in Business, Finance or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience from a trading desk is preferred, but not a pre-requisite
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure in a high paced environment
- Resilient and proactive with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen interest and knowledge of capital markets, execution services and trading technology
- Fluent proficiency in Norwegian and English (written/oral)

The position is based in Oslo and will report to Head of Sales at Fearnley Securities. Travelling should be expected.
