**Role:Family Architect Channel and Process**
Lead the overall architecture of our shared channel platform—aligning and guiding multiple
capability architects to ensure a coherent, scalable, and future-proof platform across customer
communications, web platform, CMS, design system, and shared runtime (excluding identity).
**Scope**
• End-to-end platform architecture across all common channel capabilities, including all non
functional aspects (Reliability, observability, etc.)
• Cross-capability integration design
• Platform-wide principles, patterns, and standards
• Architectural governance and alignment across capability architects
• Cross-team roadmap alignment and sequencing
**Key Responsibilities**
Architectural Leadership
• Provide overall architectural leadership across communications, Nucleus, Eufemia, CMS, and
runtime teams.
• Coordinate and align sub-team architects around shared principles and a unified platform
target architecture.
• Ensure architectural decisions across teams reinforce a cohesive and composable platform.
Target Architecture & Direction
• Define the platform-wide target architecture, excluding identity.
• Model capability boundaries, contracts, and cross-cutting integration patterns.
• Design how capabilities compose into a consistent developer and user experience.
• Have a view and alignment on the evolution path needed to support business
direction/strategy. For example toward mobile/native app support and AI/MCP exposure.
Platform Coherence
• Own integration / interaction patterns among:
o Communications services
o Nucleus web platform
o CMS content modelling & delivery
o Eufemia component and styling system
o Shared runtime services (security, logging, observability, configuration)
• Ensure designs support portability, scalability, reuse, and predictable delivery.
Governance & Alignment
• Chair a Channels and Process Technology and Architecture Board for sub-team architects.
• Establish the required architecture governance processes in accordance with DNB framework
Enablement & Developer Experience
• Create reference architectures, templates, and golden paths for channel teams.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers to raise architectural maturity.
• Champion documentation quality, clarity, and adoption.
Future-Proofing
• Ensure today’s platform evolves naturally toward:
o Native app enablement
o Multi-channel content distribution
o MCP-style external AI integrations (with guardrails and policy controls)
**Required Experience**
Leadership
• Led architecture work across multiple teams or capabilities.
• Strong influence and facilitation skills—able to align without formal authority.
Platform Architecture
• Proven experience designing and governing shared platforms.
• Deep expertise in:
o Web runtime platforms
o Frontend architecture (composable frontends, reactive frameworks, performance)
o CMS/content modelling and integration
o Design system governance and large-scale component adoption
o Observability, performance, and operational readiness
o Event-driven or service-based integration patterns
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Skilled at working with product, engineering, UX, content, and architecture communities.
• Experience running architectural boards, forums, and governance processes.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with mobile/native app architecture.
• Experience integrating design systems into multi-channel delivery.
• Understanding of AI exposure models, e.g., MCP, API governance, and policy enforcement.
• Architecture leadership in a regulated environment.
