**Responsibilities**
- Oversee construction activities for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), telecom, and instrument systems.
- Monitor project development, reporting on HSSEQ, schedule, and financial performance.
- Champion HSSEQ principles and promote a safe working environment as a role model.
- Review technical documentation and requirements to ensure adherence to high standards.
- Follow up on QA/QC routines and procedures during the construction and completion phases.
- Manage Mechanical Completion (MC) documentation, including signing certificates and resolving punch items.
- Monitor site progress and report MC status in the PIMS CMS system.
- Ensure the completion of the MC dossier for a smooth handover to commissioning.
- Serve as the key link between the site team and the engineering office, ensuring clear communication.
Required expertise
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering or Automation.
- A professional certificate (Fagbrev) in Electrical/Automation is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience with Mechanical Completion (MC), fieldwork, and PIMS CMS.
- Practical knowledge of applicable industry standards for design, construction, and operation.
- Experience from an international construction yard is preferable.
- Self-motivated with excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Language: English and Norwegian (written and verbal)
Location: Haugesund, Norway, with required offshore work
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: As soon as possible until August 31, 2026, with a potential for extension.
