Project engineer
**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate strong HSSEQ leadership and promote core safety values throughout the project.
- Review technical documentation and requirements to ensure compliance with adequate standards.
- Monitor the design basis for painting and metallization, ensuring effective interface with other disciplines.
- Oversee QA/QC routines and procedures, performing regular site inspections to ensure quality.
- Act as the primary communication link between the contractor site team and the company engineering office.
- Track and verify site progress, reporting deviations and managing punch items using PIMS CMS.
- Ensure the complete and accurate handover of Mechanical Completion (MC) dossiers for commissioning.
- Follow up on the receipt, storage, and preservation of materials and equipment.
- Participate in risk assessments, safety analyses, and other HSSEQ-related reviews as required.
Required expertise
- Bachelors degree, technical college qualification, or a similar relevant education.
- FROSIO Level 3 Insulation certification or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within the oil & gas industry.
- Proven experience with completion work and proficiency in the PIMS CMS system.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable standards for design, construction, and operation.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication abilities.
- A self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong commitment to teamwork.
Language: English and Norwegian (written and verbal)
Location: Haugesund, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time, 13-15 rotation schedule including night shifts
Duration: Temporary assignment until July 31, 2026
