**Principal Data Platform Architect**
to lead this journey.
This is a unique opportunity for a visionary specialist who wants to combine hands-on technical architecture with strategic leadership. You will not just be an employee; you will be a key figure in defining how we deliver next-generation data platforms (Azure Fabric & Databricks) to major Norwegian enterprises.
**Your Role**
As our Principal Architect, you will act as the technical authority for our most complex engagements. You will help build our culture, set our standards, and mentor our growing team.
- Strategic Leadership: Define architecture standards and delivery frameworks for Azure-based data solutions.
- Solution Design: Architect robust, scalable platforms using Azure Data Platform (Synapse, Data Factory, Fabric) and Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
- Trusted Advisor: Engage with C-level stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
- Team Enablement: Mentor data engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and psychological safety.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of the Azure/Databricks roadmap and share your knowledge through internal sessions and industry events.
**Kvalifikasjoner**
**Who You Are**
We are looking for a senior professional with a consulting mindset who enjoys solving complex problems.
- Experience: 8+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture, with at least 3 years focused on Azure data platforms.
- Technical Core: Deep expertise in Azure Synapse, ADLS, Data Factory, and Event Hubs.
- Databricks Specialist: Proven proficiency with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and the MLflow ecosystem.
- Communication: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Leadership: Experience leading technical teams or projects is essential.
*Certifications (Highly valued but not mandatory): Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Databricks Certified Professional.*
