**The Why**
Reporting to the Director of Deposits Products and Portfolio, this role will be accountable for driving Ubank’s Deposit Products & Portfolio, a domain central to our customer value proposition, funding strategy, and commercial performance.


This high performing individual will help lead and execute Ubank’s deposit pricing strategies through analytics, forecasting and financial modelling, and drive portfolio performance by translating data insights into actionable pricing decisions that optimise margin, growth and customer outcomes


**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and implement data-driven pricing strategies that balance growth, margin, funding needs, competitive positioning, and customer value
- Continuously optimise pricing frameworks based on customer behaviour, elasticity analysis, and market positioning
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess pricing impacts on margin, growth and customer acquisition
- Demonstrate commercial ownership across revenue, operating costs, and contribution to bank wide P&L and balance sheet outcomes.
- Make informed trade-offs to maximise sustainable value creation.
- Provide deep analytical insights into portfolio performance drivers.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to inform strategic adjustments
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation, including product design, segmentation and pricing differentiation.
- Ensure pricing decisions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
- Partner with Finance, Risk, Data, Marketing, Digital, Operations and Treasury teams to align pricing decisions with funding and balance sheet strategies.

**Your Experience**

- Demonstrated experience in pricing, analytics or portfolio management within financial services.
- Experience developing pricing strategies, and managing P&L, margin, and balance‑sheet drivers.
- Strong background using analytics, forecasting, and customer/market insights to drive decisions and optimise performance.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across key functions (e.g., Marketing, Digital, Data, Treasury, Finance, Risk) to deliver pricing outcomes aligned to broader business strategy.

**Qualifications (Preferred)**

- A degree in a related field (Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Mathamatics, Banking, Business or similar) that provides a solid educational background for professional achievements is preferred, however not mandatory if relative professional experince is able to be demonstrated.
