**The Role**
The
**Membership Committee**
for Amara Club is a paid position and responsible for building and curating the membership community. They are essentially the gatekeepers of the secret club.
We are hiring Membership Committee members from various backgrounds.
**The membership committee accepts applications on a rolling basis.**
While the application is always live, there may not be an open position at the time your application is received.
**Responsibilities**
- Review membership applications
- Attend periodic team meetings
**Requirements**
- Work whenever, we anticipate 5-10 hours of work per week
- Witty and strong writing + communication skillz are a plus
- Strong network but not caught up in the scene
- Creative and original
- Social butterfly, friendly and approachable
- Team player, low ego, positive energy, takes initiative
- Understands the chaotic startup lifestyle
