**The opportunity**
**At Neat we create intelligent, simple video collaboration devices, and are now looking for a machine learning engineer to join our audio team. The team works toward the vision Everyone should hear and understand each other, clearly and effortlessly. To that end, we combine traditional and machine learning techniques to process and enhance the audio from our device’s microphones.**
**What You Will Do**

- Develop and train cutting edge machine learning models for audio.
- Collect, process, and organize data.
- Follow current research in AI and machine learning.
- Evaluate machine learning models using both objective metrics and subjective listening.
- Adapt machine learning models for realtime execution on edge devices.

**Who You Are**

- Self driven and like to follow projects from research to finished products.
- A strong communicator that shares your work and experience.
- You stay up to date with new technologies, tools, and methods.
- You live in or are willing to relocate to the Oslo area, or within two timezones from Oslo.
- You are passionate. We love what we do, you should too.

**Your Experience**

- Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools and languages, like PyTorch or Tensorflow.

**Maybe you also**

- Have experience with machine learning in an industrial or product environment.
- Are familiar with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Have experience with audio processing.
- Have used experiment tracking and data versioning tools.
- Are proficient in embedded development using C/C++.
