**Norwegian Language Expert (AI Training)**
**About The Role**
What if your command of Norwegian could directly influence how AI communicates with millions of people? We're looking for Norwegian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Norwegian-language content. Your linguistic insight will shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Norwegian — making a real and lasting impact on the language's representation in cutting-edge technology.


This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required — just a deep fluency in Norwegian and a sharp eye for quality.

- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

**What You'll Do**

- Review AI-generated Norwegian translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues
- Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Norwegian
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

**Who You Are**

- Native or near-native fluency in Norwegian (Bokmål and/or Nynorsk)
- Strong written communication skills in Norwegian
- Solid command of contemporary Norwegian usage across different contexts and registers
- Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach
- No prior AI or tech experience required

**Nice to Have**

- Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
- Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of regional Norwegian language variations and dialects
- Background in writing, journalism, or communications
