Ready to take ownership of fire protection projects, from mobilisation through to delivery?
We’re recruiting a Project Manager to lead project teams in Herøya, Norway. This is an opportunity for someone with a strong fire protection or mechanical background who enjoys taking responsibility for delivery, building client relationships and keeping projects moving.
You’ll oversee budgets, programme, quality and safety, working closely with site teams and senior management to deliver against agreed targets.
**The role**
- Manage project delivery, including planning, resources, procurement and site operations.
- Monitor budgets, project margins and progress, capturing variations and reporting performance.
- Lead supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring clear responsibilities and scope.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular site visits and progress updates.
- Drive high standards of safety and quality, ensuring inspections, QA checks and sign-offs are completed.
- Identify practical improvements to strengthen project delivery.
**What you’ll bring**
- At least five years’ experience within fire protection design and build, or similar mechanical roles.
- Strong project planning, budgeting and commercial awareness.
- An understanding of procurement, design coordination and site operations.
- Confident leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Project and Construction Programme Management to NFQ Level 8.
