Stillingsbeskrivelse

**About Position Green**
Position Green is a frontrunner in ESG software, supporting organizations in accelerating their sustainability journey. Our offering combines a proprietary ESG software platform with specialized sustainability advisory services and e-learning. By making sustainability measurable and actionable, we simplify the ESG reporting challenge and help build robust strategies that reduce risk and create lasting value.

Founded in 2015 in the Nordics, Position Green today serves more than 750 customers globally and has over 270 employees across Europe.

**About The Role**
We are now looking for a Senior Director, FP&A to play a pivotal role in shaping Position Green’s financial truth and value-creation agenda.

This role owns the end-to-end financial performance narrative for the Group and serves as the single source of truth for executive management, the Board, and our private equity owners. You will be accountable for establishing and maintaining a coherent, decision-ready view of Position Green’s financial performance, spanning historical results, forward-looking plans, and SaaS performance metrics.

Operating cross-functionally and reporting to the CFO, you will act as the financial integrator and quality owner of all financial information used by executive leadership, the Board, and investors. The role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on analytical ownership and plays a central role in M&A activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
**Financial Planning & Performance Management**

- Own and continuously develop budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Establish scalable frameworks for rolling forecasts, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis
- Ensure financial plans are internally consistent, strategically aligned, and clearly articulated
- Maintain integrated financial models covering revenue growth, cost structure, profitability, and cash flow

**Financial Reporting Integration**

- Ensure coherence, consistency, and interpretability of financial information across the Group
- Align all external reporting (statutory, management, Board/investor) in close collaboration with the Group accounting function
- Review, challenge, and reconcile inputs from across the finance function
- Safeguard the integrity and credibility of Position Green’s financial narrative

**SaaS Metrics & Value Creation**

- Own and continuously refine the company’s SaaS performance framework (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, etc.)
- Ensure consistent definitions and reporting standards across the organisation
- Identify and quantify opportunities to improve unit economics, operating leverage, and cash generation
- Track and support value-creation initiatives in collaboration with executive management and owners

**Executive & Business Partnering**

- Provide high-quality financial insight and decision support to executive leadership
- Support strategic discussions with clear financial analysis and scenario work
- Translate complex financial data into concise, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders

**Automation & AI**

- Drive adoption of modern FP&A tools, automation, and AI-enabled analytics
- Reduce manual work, improve data quality, and enable faster decision-making
- Challenge traditional processes to increase scalability and impact

**M&A & Investment Support**

- Lead FP&A-related workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle
- Support target screening, financial modelling, and business case development
- Collaborate closely with Position Green’s lead investor and external advisors
- Support due diligence, valuation analysis, synergy modelling, and downside scenarios
- Lead post-acquisition financial integration from an FP&A perspective

**Who We’re Looking For**
We believe you are a senior finance professional with strong analytical depth, business acumen, and the confidence to challenge and influence at executive level.

**To Succeed In This Role, You Likely Have**

- Extensive experience in FP&A, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based business
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and value creation levers
- Experience operating in a private equity-owned or performance-driven environment
- Solid knowledge of statutory accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proven experience in building scalable financial planning frameworks
- Experience from M&A processes (buy-side preferred) is a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial complexity into clear narratives
- High ownership mindset, structured thinking, and strong integrity

What We Offer

At Position Green, you will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of a purpose-driven company. You will work closely with executive leadership, the Board, and investors while contributing directly to our value-creation journey.
