Location: Stavanger / Offshore (The work will be based in Stavanger with offshore activities if required)
**Assignment Description**
We are looking for a **Senior Electrical / Power Systems Engineer** to support electrical engineering activities related to power system studies and technical documentation.
The assignment will include:
- Power system analysis and electrical studies using **ETAP**
- **Short-circuit calculations** and fault level analysis
- **Protection coordination and selectivity studies**
- Review and preparation of electrical engineering documentation
- Technical calculations and documentation in accordance with relevant standards and requirements
- Coordination with engineering disciplines, suppliers and other project stakeholders
- Follow-up and verification of electrical systems and study results
- Documentation and engineering work related to **DNV requirements/classification**
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems / Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal educational requirements
- Several years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer / Power Systems Engineer
- Solid experience with ETAP
- Experience with short-circuit calculations
- Experience with protection coordination and selectivity studies
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical electrical documentation
- Experience with relevant electrical standards and regulations
- Experience with DNV / DNV GL requirements is highly desirable
- Offshore, maritime, energy or oil & gas experience is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary engineering team`
