CYBRET AI is building Autonomous Security Infrastructure for modern organizations operating in complex, distributed, cloud native environments.

Our ambition is to move cybersecurity away from reactive, human dependent workflows and toward continuous, intelligent, autonomous security. We design systems that combine human judgment where it matters with fully autonomous decision making where speed, scale, and precision are required.

We make a strict distinction between automation and autonomy. CYBRET AI does not rely on static rules or predefined playbooks. We build systems that understand context, reason over exposure and attack surfaces, assess consequences, and make decisions based on real risk. Humans are involved only when escalation is necessary.

What We Are Building

Our core focus is Exposure and Vulnerability Management as an intelligent decision system.

Rather than treating vulnerabilities as isolated findings, CYBRET AI models real attack surfaces, realistic attack paths, identity relationships, trust boundaries, and business criticality. Our systems reason about how exposures combine in practice and which actions meaningfully reduce risk.

We are building toward Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Marketplace launches, with cloud agnostic architecture as a foundation.

The Role

This is a senior research focused engineering role with direct influence on how CYBRET AI reasons about security, risk, and autonomy.

You will operate at the boundary between research and production. Your work will shape new models, methods, and system designs, and you will be responsible for translating research into deployable, reliable components.

This role is for someone who enjoys deep thinking, experimentation, and rigor, but also values shipping research into real systems.

Responsibilities

Security and Risk Research

You will research how modern attacks emerge, propagate, and succeed across cloud, identity, network, and application layers.

You will study attacker behavior, exposure chaining, and exploitability in real world environments.

Modeling and System Design

You will design conceptual and mathematical models for exposure, risk, and decision making.

You will help define how uncertainty, confidence, and impact are represented in autonomous security systems.

Applied Experimentation

You will design and run experiments to evaluate hypotheses, models, and system behavior.

You will work with imperfect, noisy, and adversarial data.

Research to Production

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate research outcomes into production features.

You will help define evaluation criteria, failure modes, and guardrails for deployed systems.

Threat Modeling and Analysis

You will perform structured threat modeling across cloud and hybrid environments.

You will contribute to improving coverage of real world attack paths and failure scenarios.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

You will document research findings clearly and rigorously.

You may contribute to internal papers, design documents, or public research when appropriate.

The role is fully remote. A home office agreement is signed upon employment.

Optional home office equipment can be arranged.
