About CYBRET AI


CYBRET AI is building Autonomous Security Infrastructure for modern organizations operating in complex, distributed, cloud native environments.

Our ambition is to move cybersecurity away from reactive, human dependent workflows and toward continuous, intelligent, autonomous security. We design systems that combine human judgment where it matters with fully autonomous decision making where speed, scale, and precision are required.

We make a strict distinction between automation and autonomy. CYBRET AI does not run predefined playbooks blindly. We build systems that understand context, reason about attack surfaces and exposure, assess consequences, and make decisions based on real risk. Humans are involved only when escalation is necessary.

What We Are Building


Our primary product focus is Exposure and Vulnerability Management as a decision system, not a reporting tool.

Instead of listing CVEs or running isolated scans, our platform understands the actual attack surface, realistic attack paths, business criticality, identity and trust boundaries, and how modern attackers chain exposures in practice.

CYBRET AI answers questions such as:

1. What can actually be exploited right now
2. What creates real risk for the business
3. What should be prioritized first to reduce risk meaningfully

We are building toward Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Marketplace launches, with cloud agnostic architecture as a core principle.

The Role


This is a senior, high ownership engineering role with direct influence on platform architecture, security posture, and long term technical direction.

You will work across cloud infrastructure, backend systems, platform engineering, and security critical design. This role is central to how autonomous security systems are built and scaled at CYBRET AI.

Responsibilities


**Cloud and Infrastructure**

**You will design, build, and evolve a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.**

**Microsoft Azure is the primary platform, but the architecture must remain compatible with AWS and GCP.**

**You will implement best practices in cloud security, identity and access management, and network segmentation.**

**CI/CD and Platform Engineering**

**You will build and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, secure, and reliable deployments.**

**You will automate testing, security checks, policy enforcement, and infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure as code.**

**On premises and Hybrid Environments**

**You will design and implement solutions for on premises and hybrid environments when required.**

**You will ensure seamless integration between cloud platforms and on premises systems.**

**Backend and Distributed Systems**

**You will develop and maintain modern backend systems.**

**You will work with distributed systems, APIs, message queues, and data pipelines.**

**You will continuously evaluate new technologies and architectural patterns.**

**Data and Network Security**

**You will ensure correct data handling, isolation, and access control.**

**You will design secure network architectures using principles such as private networking, private endpoints, and zero trust.**

The team is currently based in Norway, but we hire internationally.

Writing technical blog posts or research articles for CYBRET AI is optional but considered a strong plus.

This is an early stage startup. The pace is high, the structure evolves continuously, and the learning curve is steep. The upside is real influence and ownership.

A dedicated budget is provided for learning, courses, and professional development.

The role is fully remote. A home office agreement is signed upon employment.
