Technical Safety
**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of installations by ensuring robust barrier management.
- Provide expert advice on technical safety, supporting projects with digitalization initiatives.
- Conduct quality assurance for analyses related to firewater systems (e.g., PIPENET).
- Support projects and assets both onshore and offshore as required.
- Quality assure technical documentation and participate in relevant workshops and reviews.
- Follow up on findings from analyses, audits, and incidents to ensure closure.
- Contribute to the professional development and transfer of experience across teams.
- Drive the continuous improvement of technical safety processes and systems.
Required expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Safety, Risk Management, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive and relevant experience can compensate for formal educational qualifications.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry.
- Solid expertise in active fire suppression systems and their design.
- A strong multidisciplinary understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively across different engineering disciplines.
- Experience with firewater analysis tools is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Norwegian and English.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Stavanger, Norway (requires offshore work)
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: This is a temporary assignment from February 2026 to February 2027.
