As a Design Engineer, you will join a company with more than 50 years of experience and a strong portfolio of innovative vessel designs.
****Key Responsibilities****
- Plan, execute, and follow up on development, newbuilding, and conversion projects
- Contribute actively from idea and concept development to basic design phases
- Develop general arrangements, vessel specifications, and technical documentation
- Participate in technical dialogue with shipowners, shipyards, and classification societies
- Follow up with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support the development and standardization of project methods and best practices
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary technical teams
**Qualifications**
- Relevant experience in engineering roles
- Experience from shipyards, classification societies, or design/consultancy environments is an advantage
- Strong technical understanding of engineering processes and project development
- Ability to lead or contribute to technical teams and processes
- Commercial awareness, particularly in delivery of technical solutions
- Experience with marine analysis tools, stability calculations, and project management is an advantage
- Proficiency in CAD software
