We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to take overall responsibility for Ground Operations delivery across our network.
In this role, you will lead and develop our Ground Operations organisation through Regional Directors and their teams, while acting as the Nominated Person for Ground Operations safety and compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer/Accountable Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational performance, safety, supplier oversight, and strategic execution across the company.
As a member of the senior leadership team, you will represent Ground Operations and the company in executive-level meetings and industry forums, contributing to the company’s long-term operational and strategic direction.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) within aviation, business, operations, or related field.
- At least 10 years of aviation experience, including Ground Operations.
- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience within complex operational environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations, standards, and recommended practices.
- Proven track record of leading and coaching large, remote operational teams.
- Strong operational and commercial mindset with documented results from improvement initiatives.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
- Fluent English skills (written and oral).
**What You’ll Be Responsible For**
- Leading Ground Operations delivery across the network through Regional Directors and their teams.
- Acting as the Nominated Person for Ground Operations safety and compliance across the network.
- Representing Ground Operations and the company in executive leadership meetings and industry forums.
- Driving operational excellence and contributing to On-Time Performance through KPI ownership and performance follow-up.
- Developing and executing Ground Operations strategy aligned with company objectives and strategic ambitions.
- Leading the authority interface for Ground Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and corrective actions are implemented.
- Managing operational and financial supplier performance in line with agreements and escalation procedures.
- Owning Ground Operations budget lines with strong governance and cost control.
- Coaching and developing direct and indirect reports through clear objectives, follow-up discipline, and competence development.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to remove operational constraints and enable strategic delivery across the organisation.
