Technical Lead / Solution Architect

**We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the architectural direction, security posture, and engineering quality of one of our key cloud‑based platforms.**
This is a senior technical role designed for an experienced engineer who wants to combine hands‑on architecture and development with team‑level technical leadership. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping platform evolution, setting technical standards, and working across multiple disciplines to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

**What will you be doing in this role?**
As Technical Lead, you will be the team’s primary technical authority, guiding architectural decisions, supporting engineers in day‑to‑day development, and ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and operational requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, security specialists, compliance, and infrastructure teams to influence how our cloud and edge‑connected solutions evolve.

This role does not include formal personnel management, but it does include meaningful leadership and architectural responsibility.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Define and drive the technical architecture of our cloud‑based platform
- Ensure solutions follow security‑by‑design principles and regulatory requirements
- Provide architectural guidance during design reviews and implementation planning
- Contribute hands‑on to system design, development, and troubleshooting
- Promote high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and maintainability
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Review and align technical designs across components and services
- Act as a technical bridge between development, product, security, compliance, and infrastructure
- Mentor and support team members through collaboration and technical guidance

**Who are we looking for?**
You are a highly skilled engineer with strong cloud architecture, security awareness, and technical leadership capability. You bring both depth and breadth in software engineering and enjoy roles where you can influence architecture while remaining hands‑on.

You communicate technical topics clearly, collaborate effectively across functions, and are comfortable guiding decisions in complex environments.

**We Believe You Bring Several Of The Following Qualifications**

- Proven experience designing cloud architectures (Azure preferred)
- Strong software engineering background (C# preferred; Python/TypeScript also relevant)
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and microservice‑based architectures
- Solid understanding of identity, access management, encryption, and data protection
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments
- Experience with edge‑to‑cloud or hybrid architectures
- Understanding of OT environments or IT/OT security considerations
- Familiarity with relevant industrial or security standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443)
- Background from energy, maritime, oil & gas, offshore, or industrial domains is beneficial

**Why join us?**
Besides competitive benefits such as flexible working hours, good insurance and pension plans, subsidized lunch options, free parking, and a welcoming company culture, we also offer:

- A diverse and inclusive environment where people are genuinely helpful and knowledge is freely shared
- An opportunity to influence the technical future of one of our key platforms and the wider organization
- Strong support for career development, including deeper technical paths and leadership opportunities
- Work that matters, contributing to cloud‑connected solutions used in industrial and regulated environments where security, quality, and reliability are essential

We build our systems with security and quality by design, supported by close cooperation between engineering, security, product, and compliance. This role exists because we are investing in long‑term platform architecture, internal competence, and technical excellence, not short‑term fixes.

As a Team Lead, you will not have formal personnel responsibility in this role, but the role is an impactful role where you have technical leadership within your areas of responsibility. This means that the role is already impactful, but can also act as a steppingstone for either future management opportunities or higher technical responsibilities.
